FOUNDATIONS HOUSING PROGRAM · MARYLAND
Safe housing and real support for women and children experiencing homelessness.
Participation in Programming is required.

Every family deserves
a foundation to build on.
OUR PROGRAM
Foundations is a transitional housing program of the Path 2 Purpose Foundation, serving women, children, and families who need shelter, stability, and a way forward.
We believe housing is where recovery starts. Our program brings housing, employment support, mental health connections, and practical skills together to help families work toward a home of their own.
WHAT WE PROVIDE
Coordinated care, practical guidance, and a safe place to focus on your next chapter.
Help coordinating benefits, employment, school enrollment, medical and psychiatric appointments, hospitalization follow-up, and supportive services from the day you arrive.
Connections to community agencies for therapy, psychiatric care, medication management, and intensive programming.
A house manager oversees daily operations and helps maintain a clean, orderly, and safe living environment for every family.
Build confidence in budgeting, paying bills, saving, managing a household, and understanding responsibilities and rights.
Access to GED programs, college preparation, job readiness training, and employment placement support.
Partnerships with local agencies help families receive complete, coordinated services throughout their stay.
LIVING AT FOUNDATIONS
Every family agrees to work toward employment, engage in mental health and supportive services, and save consistently toward private housing.
Participants do not pay rent. Each participant contributes 30% of their income each month as a programming fee. This is reinvested in food, clothing, household expenses, community activities, case management, and supportive services.
When a participant secures employment and is ready to live independently, Foundations helps the family move into permanent housing by donating the first month’s rent and providing move-in support and continued services.
Participants take part in community outreach, including food and clothing giveaways, toiletry distributions, and overdose survival kits, helping connect neighbors with resources.
